It would be a great opportunity if one day VDJ supports the spinning platter of the excellent Denon DN-HS5500.

What makes you think VDJ doesn't support the HS5500?
It works better in VDJ 8 than it has done for quite a while (since VDJ 6).
It's not perfect, but then the same is true of other motorized platters.

What he means is the spinning platter is unusable since every manipulations (start, scratch etc.) cause the song to speedup for like 4-5 seconds (both pitch and tempo). Currently you can use it only for scratching with samples loaded on the other deck. Forget about beat juggling or basically any scratching with a song.
