one thing i noticed is Apple wont screen capture or vid capture the spinning rainbow wheel. When im loading the fruit skin it shows the wheel. its just a slight pause but i noticed it. Still doesnt stop me from loving this skin though!
 
Well my skin may be a bit more complicated than others, many panels to load... Several layouts, several waveviews, ans so on. I guess that makes the loading of all those elements longer.

The dev team is constantly trying to facilitate the use / load of such skins, thank you guys :)
 
awesome! I used VDJ 8 with your skin last nite for 6.5 hrs no problems! Works great for a low light dj booth. Thanks again!

IS there a way from stopping the loop reseting itself? i normally stick with a 4 or 8 bar loop. everytime i load a new song it defaults to like 1.
 
The default loop doesn't reset on load there... Even if it was set to 256...

Do you have the same issue with the default skin ?

I assume we're talking about the number displayed in the loop panel ?

Does it reset just after dragging a song on the deck ? Or when activating a new loop ?

How exactly did you activate the loop ? By clicking the number between IN and OUT ? by clicking a button of the loop grid in the extended loop view ? Or maybe by clicking the OUT button ?

Which of the options (ROLL - BACK - SNAP) is actually activated ?

Are you using the very last beta version (2094) ? Or a previous one ?

Ideally, if you could do a small vid to show me exactly what happens, it would be great. Cause unfortunately I can't reproduce this bug so I don't know how to handle it... Also I don't have a mac, but only a PC... If you have an opportunity to try this in a PC, do you have the same issue ?
 
i must apologize, mistake on my part. i missed that the loop would change from me using the an add on effect "loop out" ALL IS GOOD

Hey, I may be being dense, but it appears that on the 4 deck layout, switching the gain dial to filter just switches to blank space.

Yup this is a known bug, it will be addressed in next release.

You still can avoid this bug by :
- entering 2 decks mode
- in the 'mixer menu', choose anything but disabled in the 'sides' sub-menu
- entering 4 decks mode again
 
Oh right, I see I only went back 1 page in this thread looking if it was a known issue, but the amount of booze I've drank over Xmas I could have easily missed it.
