I recently had a major prob with my computer. I had to format and re-load everything. Unfortunately whilst VDJ works fine I'm having to re-load every tune through the prog to get its data (Time. BPM etc) back, and although I have my playlist shown when I choose any or all sons they do not play, I have to re-locate them and put them in manually. Any ideas there's 12000 tunes to do this with.

Sounds like you need to rescan your entire collection in order to create a new database.
Tip #1 when using VDJ: Take regular backups of the VDJ database and keep it somewhere safe.

If you are using an external hdd for your music, make sure the drive has the same drive letter as it had before you reinstalled everything.
