Topic: [skin][scratchwave] bug ?

I was playing with scratchwaves, trying to set up and down values to mask a part of the wave.

Unfortunately, the best I could do is :

You may notice that the upper part of the second song (bottom) is overlapping the first song's wave. It is not really masked, but just colored black.

Can we have a real mask for scratchwaves please ? I guess this must be a bug. Also the v8 sdk doesn't mention anything about scratchwaves (as well as menus...).

Why is something not implemented considered a bug ? It was not available in version 7 either.
Mask is not available and something like the pic above not currently possible.
Please use the Wishes forum, thats the reason of its existence.

Because this element is already using masks, it just misses a true hiding color (let's say #FF00FF could do the trick).

But feel free to close this thread.

Its my understanding that v8 doesn't use "masks" in the skin file. instead it uses transparency in order to detect the outlines of skin graphics..
though i cant see how transparency or even a mask would help in your example above..
