My next problem is play back of video ,...
I made a list in autoplay for several hours that goes well for ....and then suddenly Out of memory I have between 35 and 45 MB short in memory.
My videocard is ATI Radeon with the latest drivers and 2GB memory.
Second video problem , in Sampler I put a PNG and click ,...Nothing ,...scroll through the sampler banks back to Video Sampler and click on the PNG and it works!
Strange but true..
I stumbled upon this forum over several ways to make this go away but with my system no succes.
What could be the problem.
I'll post the specs of my PC somewhere next week

Sounds like the ATI memory bug.
Could you do the following please:
1. open vdj and taskmanager
2. load a video in a deck
3. click and hold into the waveform (not rythm wave) and move the song position back and forth.
4. check the RAM usage of the VDJ process in the taskmanager
That way I could easily reproduce a RAM usage of 3 GB for VDJ in version 7.
Oh and another thing. Are you using a video window or a 2nd device for video output.
Again, in V7 the video window caused the problems. If a 2nd device was connected I didn't get this memory bug.
If the video window is the problem, check the RAM in taskmanager, deactivate and active the video output (click on the video preview window on the skin, video window should close and reopen), check RAM again.
Should be way lower.
