Topic: Tag Editor Not Work and more problem

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

There are still many problems with the editor of tags.
does not work with video Mp4!
It crashes and reboots in automix with Denon NS7II
Vdj8 Mac version 1932/780
OS X 10.8.5 MBP 15.4 - 2.3GHz i7 8GB 1600MHz Ram
GT650 512MB
HD firewire Iomega 1TB

I posted about this before but received not feedback from VDJ staff. Hope they are looking into it.

Works for me on an internal HDD, External HDD might be the important bit here, I'd check permissions.

is not permission problem, hd formatted OS (journaled) read and write ok

I found it works on mp3s. On mp4s certain portions of the tag like comment work but not others like ratings.

On mp4 only works sometimes on some!
  but many description fields do not work
