Not a major issue.
When the automix list is full to the bottom of the screen, it's impossible to add another mp3/video to the bottom of the list, it won't scroll past the bottom of the list like it does on VDJ7. You have to add it where the red line shows between the bottom and second off bottom mp3/videos. Then you can scroll down and swap the last two if you want your list in a specific order.
I use this every week as I assemble the current top 40 chart in a playlist (saves paper lol).

Not sure if that works, but have you tried to drag the song to the very bottom of the list and then "outside" of the list itself.
Drop it to where the icons for automix, sidelist... are.
Or, as a workaround, create a (custom) button with the action "playlist_add".

If you drop a song on the bottom-half of the last line it will be appended after that item.
(So just where you don't see the red line anymore, but where it still says 'Add To Automix')
