VIRTUAL DJ 8 IS NOT RECOGNIZING THE SL3 BOX CAN IT DO THIS IF SO HELP PLEASE

Mine works on both PC and my Mac. Been using for the past 4 year with VDJ.
Did you install the drivers from the Serato folder??

OK I will check because I got the box today when I install serato dj it install the driver for me but I will check the folder or should I install it From the CD it came with.

Yeah theres a separate ASIO driver that needs to be installed. You can find it in C drive/Program files/Serato folder, or something named like that. Install those and youll be good to go.
Click on the ASIO installer.........

Go the the serato and download and install serato dj 1.6.3 - the program has the latest drivers for the sl3 box - the firmware of the sl3 has been updated since the cd was released.
Here are my settings for the sl3. I have the aux set for record but you can set it to whatever you want
