Topic: Clipbank and Essencial Media videos stopped working in VDJ 7 after installing VDJ8

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Whew... Never mind I fixed it.

Stupid me moved my Video Blocks folder to another drive for consistancy with my other PC. And all my video samples were pointing to the old location.

Moved the folder back and now I'm fixed.

Got a little worried when Un-system restoring. VDJ8 did not restore.

Panic set in when I realized I might lose all my virtual folder and filter folder order. I spent many hours getting them right.

I re-installed 8 and opened it up. Ahhhhhhhh...... everything was intact.

Very happy now and I can put time in my music program for Saturday. Hell of a night so far.

Glad you sorted it out Jimmy.

The latest Essential Media BETA for VDJ7 and VDJ8 can be found here. It will install as EssentialMediaBeta.dll so it will not overwrite your current version. It's still in process as a beta though. Big job getting it altogether for VDJ8 but this version is compatible with 7 and 8 but still under development.
