I'm trying to successfully get VDJ 8 on the PC (W7) to successfully work with a video in device so I can import an external video source, that being an EasyCap and it works with all other software.
With either the built in webcam or the EasyCap, VDJ8 returns the error: "Unable to read sample (e:-1072875772 w:720 h:576 s:2880 fmt:00000016-0000-0010-800000AA00389B71)
Any hints/directions on how to get this working greatly appreciated!

Ahhh... ok. Thanks - Yea, I'm not sure how this work with the month to month subscription. I guess I can cancel and see if the plug in works as what, the program will work but for only 20 mins or something like that? Ok - will keep watching the digital skies for an update.

So tried again today as there was an update. The internal webcam worked but when I tried the EasyCAP - no go.

Did you try selecting a different resolution to see if it works?

yes

EasyCAP offers 3 resolution choices but none work. I'm guessing the specifics for EasyCAP have not been addressed yet.

Had to cancel my VDJ8 subscription since this has not been fixed in over a month and I've had zero usage due to this.
Would love to see an announcement that this gets fixed so I can reinstate.
