I have discovered how to turn off the VDJ logo on the video screen and it's fine if I have an internet connection and I'm logged in.
Without being able to sign in the logo reappears.
I haven't tested this, (as I'm still using VDJ 7 for playout until I fully understand and learn 8) but does it mean that EVERYTHING will have reset to Home version? - Audio settings, controllers etc?
Concerned as a lot of my venues don't have WiFi nor a good cell signal.

You don't need to log out when you finish using VDJ.
If you simply take a computer (that's been logged in) to a gig, it'll run fine without needing a connection, as the license file will still be on the hard drive. It's when you log out that the license file gets deleted.
You could even keep a copy of that file elsewhere on the drive (or on a memory stick etc) and place it back in the directory if or when you need to.
There are numerous old threads here about how the VDJ 8 license system works.
