My post here is in 2 parts:
1. I have a lot of older music videos in avi format (shown in Windows Explorer as either "Movie Clips" or "Video Clips") which VDJ8 doesn't seem to like sometimes as they will intermittently refuse to load the video (audio is fine). Any suggestions on this? they do sometimes load and play without any problem, however there are times when the video wont display, just the audio. I must say that this behavior is only for avi files and never happens with any of the newer MP4 formats.
2. I may be partly answering my own question here as I am considering to convert the avi's to MP4, but need advice from the forum on the best conversion software to enable me to do this. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

U might check what codec those avi files use and report here may help figure out the problem
