I seem to have the auto-sync function always ON on my VDJ 8... Can't seem to find out how to get rid of that. EX... If a song at 85 BPM is playing and I load another song at 90 BPM, the new song is always being AutoSync with the one already playing...

Go to Options and search for bpm. Change "autoBPMMatch" from "smart" to "no".

I have reported the same thing on a video. Autosync still is working but sometimes. If you could detect the enviroment when it works could be helpful to DEV Team to figure out why is working while option is disabled.
