Greetings all,
I'm trying to successfully get VDJ 8 on the PC (W7) to successfully work with a video in device so I can import an external video source.
My device is an EasyCap and it works with all other software.
With either the built in webcam or the EasyCap, VDJ8 returns the error: "Unable to read sample (e:-1072875772 w:720 h:576 s:2880 fmt:00000016-0000-0010-800000AA00389B71)
The ESSENTIAL MEDIA plugin sees the camera yet when you engage the plug in, the "Start" button in the plug in on the "Camera" tab doesn't work.
Any hints/directions on how to get this working greatly appreciated!

I've opened up a support ticket for this as well over a week ago and have not heard anything in regards to this video input issue. Signed up for monthly subscription to test this. Any updates VDJ?

hello I have the same problem I thought it was the easycap capture and buy me another. however I still have the same problem. if you already have the solution please share it and opened one tiket but still can not get an answer

I bought a Hauppauge which also doesn't work with VDJ8.
