Since I can't change key, or eq or nudge or apply many effects to recorded loops and since I'm forced to assign a recorded loop to a pad, I figure to hell with the loop recording and playback device Atomix tries to pass off as a sampler, I may as well just drop the loop on the deck, I have far more control, I might start recording loops on the fly in sets again

but the analysis of the loop is just useless, and I'm talking about boring basic 4/4 128 bpm loops recorded from inside a perfect loop.
VDJ analysis seems to think that a loop that VDJ wrote 5 seconds ago, (that it also tagged as 128 bpm) that it's actually 85.16, in the 1 in 4 times that it gets the bpm right the beat grid (that was perfect in the track it was recorded from) is a mile off phase.

The analysis should occur as the loop is recorded.

Something that was functional in V7 (it recorded loops had them ready to play instantly) has been replaced with a gimick
As an on the fly concept this aspect of VDJ is an absolute failure
Time to lay down in a darkened room now

While I do like the new sampler you are right, this sampler is no good for on the fly use.

A little more work and it will be a killer machine!!
