Is there a way to use my VST effects in VDJ8?
I tried copying the dll's to the plugin directory, but it didn't work.
Thanks

VirtualDJ 8 manual around page 19...
How to:
Simply extract and copy the .dll file of the VST to the sound effects folder of VirtualDJ (\Users\YourUsername\\(My)Documents\VirtualDj\Plugins\SoundEffect).
After that your Effect will be listed along with your other effects and you can select and use it like the default ones.
VST Effects usually provide their own GUI. Use the + button from the skin or the *cog wheel* button from the Effects List, to get a floating window with the effect’s interface:

No, there is no mention of VST effects in the manual (despite VDJ supporting VSTs for ten years).

Thank you.
I was trying to put it directly into the plug-in folder versus putting it in the sound effects folder.
