Apologies if this has been asked, but I couldn't find an answer.
When I try to open either my "Music" or "Karaoke" folder, which has 3000+ and 16000+ songs in each, respectively, it takes several minutes for the files to load. They are kept on an external drive. If I copy these files onto my internal HD would they most likely be accessed quicker, or is this normal?

Could be normal if the external hard disk is plugged on USB2.0, but I recommend to organize your folders with 3000 (limit) each folder to speed up you browsing.
