Ok, I was able to do this in 7 but building a waitlist (now sidelist), it won't save - well, it saves if you shut down the app. Either that or o am missing something.
But the ability to leave things just as it was prior to shutting down is a cursed blessing. Great in case shut down in error or crash, or in case of a new gig or event, kinda have a clean slate to start from.

My sidelist saves automatically. In options/browser, Removeplayedfromsidelist, set to no. Or you could populate to automix panel, save it and give it a name, as a play list.
