Recently my desktop has began to play up and it has became extremely difficult to run virtualDJ 7, I mainly create mash-ups and the like.
Any suggestions but not windows 8.
Thanks

the key for you is the processor and its speed - the higher you go the better it can handle things but the more it will cost. Personally I prefer Intel although others may not - its a choice thing ! Other considerations would be RAM - the more the better
I have used many different laptop brands Sony & HP for me seem stable with HP being the most cost effective. With a budget of <£500 you can get a pretty decent one new for that.
You can still get Win7 laptops on the net but not in shops like PC World ect but you can always downgrade the OS

Installing the ddj-sr to laptop..
I can't seem to get the pioneer ddj-sr to work with my laptop. downloaded and updated the firmware, software. The controller doesn't even show up on my screen. what or where did i go wrong?.
