Not sure if this is a bug or me misunderstanding how it's meant to work.
I have set autogain to Auto as it said this option would scan every track to choose the correct gain level, even if the gain had previously been set.
I was totally shocked that when I played a track it was a lot quieter (even at the oldest parts) than everything else that I had played. The file said the gain was set at -14db. It was never this when I used it in v7.4.1.
After the track had finished playing I rescanned the file and it set the gain to 0db.
Do I really need to rescan my entire library for the gain to work?
