This will save unplayed to the sidelist. You can activate the horizontal sidelist as Loco says - but not necessary as you have a SideList in the SideView panel.

yes we can do that dan but seeing as how having the sidelist at the bottom frees up valuable space (especially with that bloody prelisten being there!) and is MUCH easier to work with than trying to go over and sort through buttons that almost blend in with the skin and are that small.

I wasn't saying DON'T activate the horizontal sidelist, just that you didn't have to.
Everyone has different ways of working, some don't like the side view, some do.
I agree there is room for improvement with some of the buttons etc, but a custom skin can solve that.
I made this custom variant of Tayla Made for Paul (Tayla) so it is all possible:
