i have been testing this on both of my macs, my home machine is a late 2012 imac 27, 8gb ram, 2.9 i5 processor, nvidia graphics, this machine has been running vdj 8 ok pretty much from the start, my gig machine is a macbook pro late 2011, 2.4gig i7 processor, 4gb ram nvidia graphics this machine has not liked running vdj 8, it was playing one video then got so hot the machine just froze up, i'm pleasently surprised with the latest version of vdj 8, so far i'm 2 hours in and the macbook is running fine with video, showing a flicker of cpu useage, and memory sitting steady at just over 2gig free, great work vdj i may be able to do a gig with 8 soon.
