Topic: tempo increase and cannot record separate tracks

Currently, I've subscribed to Virtual DJ 8. Why does the right side tempo not increase when syncing and on the left side when in the process of mixing from one side to the other the left side goes out of sync and drops temp? Can you please help me determine if I'm doing something wrong and I should just go back to VDJ 7 LE. Also, when recording how do you set it up so it records tracks separately but still in the mix?
