v8 crash reports are sent directly the development team. This eliminates the need for anyone to post crash reports to forums etc.

This was reported by me, it looks good now. But some of the virtual folders now have a plus sign on its left, but there are no subfolders. If I click on them the plus sign disappears, but its back again if I restart VDJ. So it seems there is still a little cosmetical issue.

Run the above Beta version tonight, Played mostly Video's / milkdrop /
transitions using Denon MC6000 it's the best VDJ 8 has run for me.
CPU much cooler, Massive improvement mixing videos no lagging / stuttering
Well done VDJ team / Developers it's getting better & better every day..... Huge

I used this built and worked great after some personal adjustments in settings. There are still a few little adjustments I need to make. I was very happy yesterday with 2 successful parties. CPU was low. Effects are nice (waiting for more like Cut). I'm ready for one more today.
The only thing was the filter knob was more like a kill rather than a filter. I'm not sure if it has to do with this specific build but would like to have it the way it was with 7. Also there was no kill with the eq knobs. Are there any adjustments in settings I need to look for when I power up my system this afternoon?

small problem in editor of tags, in earlier builds when I loaded new tracks on VDJ and after having analyzed the BPM
I selected tag editor and memorized all tags written with TagScanner with 1845.690 window tag is empty before
I have to deselect the files and then one time to go tag.
I only use video files H264 Mp4 converted from vob Tagged with TagScanner,
except BPM and classification, all with the same bitrate audio and video

equalizerMode, set this to full kill
also I've found I like my equalizerLowFrequency a bit higher than VDJ's setting (there's is 200) I rather 400
For the filter

Eq is on point now.
Filter is still not like it was with 7 but much better.
Also wondering how to make jogs for the SX the same as it was in 7.

I think 1 band on it's own @ 0% only = -12dB which isn't a kill in my opinion,
the only advice I can offer is old school eqing (kill the bass, drop the gain slightly & raise the mids & tops, or maybe lower the mids a touch too as V8 merges the boundaries between eq bands.) I have other ideas but nothing that will be ready in time.

[1845 issue:] Browser touchscreen mode no longer gives wider scroll bars, they stay the same size wether the option is on or off.
still get the windows taskbar if i turn touchscreen mode off (as expected)

If I drop the gain it changes in Vdj. Messes up autogain.

Sorry I was being too old school, I was meaning to say drop the fader, the only way to get more kill is (after killing the bass) is drop the fader and boost the other bands, how it was done right back in the day. I'll be making a post in the next few days on how to use a different equalizer that is much stronger than V8's (-20dB)
