Today and found about 6 files that said "missing files".
Went to relocate and results said could not locate. I tried to locate on drive
outside of VDS and they are completely gone.
I used the same files yesterday and did not delete any of these files.
Don't know if anyone else has had this issue.

Actually maybe,
I've lost a few albums but thought it was my own carelessness and it wasn't an issue because everything is backed up.
Have you searched the recycle bin, windows?
Technical is there a M$ windows log for files being deleted that can be checked.

For the 1.5 hours I used VDJ8 before crashing I had the same issue. Files that were there 2 days ago weren't there last night. Strange... I didn't have any time to investigate as It crashed before I had a chance to look at what was going on

Yep checked the recycle bin, and everywhere else.

How about previous versions of the folder containing? right click the folder>properties,>previous versions
