I'm noticing crackling sound in most tracks and in some even stuttering or chopping audio.

I use the DN6000 controller, any ideas?

Have you tried this on another laptop yet . But it sounds like a latency issue

I'm actually using a PC, i7, 32gb of ram, and an independent video card.

AMD Radeon 6900 with GDDR5 memory.

By the way, anyone knows where do I activate the limiter?

Default should be activated, unless you changed it....In config
