My video window stopped opening (ctrl + v wouldn't open it either) and even rebooting did not fix the issue. I reinstalled while keeping my settings and databases and it still didn't work so I reinstalled again removing the settings and database and it worked. This leads me to believe there is something wrong with the settings file with regards to the video window.
I will post here again if I find out more.

In the options page it has a position reference for the video window.
Could be possible that it didnt technically dissapear, but ended up off screen?
I have noticed if you drag it down to the bottomof the screen and some of it goes off the screen, when you drag it back it has resized to the size of the bit you didnt drag off the screen.
