Just a question that Im rewording , in virtual dj 8 how time I turn Auto Sunc off ? as everytime I load a track into vd8 the pitch changes to match the other one, and also if I set my pitch in deck A or B to +2 when I load the next track into either decks , the pich resets to zero , how can I turn this off ?
Also when using Vdj8 on my windows 8.1 machine which is a sony viao 2013 with 8 gig of ram, or my acer i7 pc with 16 gig or ram , both these machines play Vdj , but every so often when im playing a tune it stops for a second then starts going again ,the cpu metere is only reading 1 bar . Is this a bug , its done this on 2 machines , im am using the Hard drives on the laptops, I am using a denon mc 6000 with these laptops . I have tried vdj 7 and that runs fine on both my laptops ? can anyone help please ?

First issue- disable autoBPMMacth if not already.
It is off check beatLock.
The 2nd issue- do you get audio drops without the controller connected??

Think the hc5000 cue is different from vd7?
When cue when stopped it wont cue a new cue point
And why 1 deck will do auto bpm like and other deck is fine
Lost as new menu now
Want auto bpm both players on only uptoo 6%

Thanks for this guys, I used Vdj on Friday night on 2 computers sony Viao 2013 , and again on my 2013 Acer, after a hour playing, the songs stopped for a few seconds and then restarted these are on both windows 8.1 machines I was using a Denon mx 3000 this time , I tried it with vd7 and there are no problems with this at all, and it played fine all night .
I tried it on sunday on my 2014 Mac and what a difference no problems at all , I have a few questions thou I was using a denon mc3000 at the weekend , and I did what was suggested in the posts , but next question is I was in manual mode just kept placing the tracks in player 1 and 2 and the pich kept matching the other player with the same bpm, its driving me mad , what am I doing wrong ? and another question when I was moving the pitch up and down ie to 2 to 3 I could see a shadow underneath like a black colour and this pitch was about 7 to 8 when my pitch was on zero , meaning I could not move my pitch any higher up.
Also on the mac I have just brought why don't any of the video Transition effects work ? ie satellite etc
And finally for now if I want to take the playlist log from my mac to my pc version from the vdj documents log and use it on my windows 8.1 machine will the history and playcount work ok .

Since we are on this topic , just a quick newbie question . If I have one song in left deck 128 BPM and a different song in right deck also set at 128 BPM, I notice that the beats are still off a bit , so I have to hit the sync , is there a better way or am i doing something wrong

What do you mean by "the beats are off"?
If you're hitting sync and that's working, then the beat grid must be set correctly.

If I have both songs say at 128 BPM and I notice at the top in the Wave form blue and red , are not lined up so when I play the other track it does not sound like its on the same beat , but soon as I hit sync , they line up at the top , and the beats are now in sync .

2 items cloned in the deck 1 and deck 2 are synchronized, now operate the Crosfader more often, and the clock jumps off.
In the file Settings.xml under the Options screen that is fader start,
-is this to Yes, the clock jumps when crossfading with the crossfader.
-is this to No, the clock jumps during fades using key control Alt / Space.
the fades using the crossfader is all OK
Question to the specialists, is this a bug?
