Where do fine the default Camera & Text video effects plugin in v8? The manual say they come as default on page 27.

Each player has an effects module. Look there, and try some of the pull downs. There is also a master effect panel in the middle of the players, next to the scratch module.

Appreciate your help! Do I need to download these video effects from VDJ site. When I downloaded the Beta version of V8, it was not included. How do I verify that I receive the full software update?

I just seen the Camera was actives. I downloaded that plugin from VDJ - Camera8. YES, I too need some type of text capability also. I need high end text fonts and motions. Not the cheese roll in, up or down is some word document text font.

Anybody have any suggestions...my eyes are wide open.

Hi
I use the on screen text tool in VDJ 7 as it is great for Birthdays etc. Due to not having this I wont use VDJ 8 yet in a live environment.

Would be great to add in.

Don't really need a lot of fonts but a few colours would be good. at least 12

There is an overlay option for txt in the video editing.
But if I'm right in what you are asking for there is a txt option as was in 7.
In both master and the video box bring up your drop down menu and go to text then select the options gear wheel next to text and you will get the txt master box as with 7.
The only issue I've had with it is that my return button doesn't work within this box and ends up typing one long line which shows up very small on the screen.
I have posted the issue in the forum but no answer yet!
It is there though guys!
