Anyone been successful setting this up? I'm doing it just to test because in the states you're responsible for all the licensing stuff *fair warning*
I click "broadcast" on 8 and I cannot even connect to it with Winamp from within my own network using 192.168.*.* (IP of the computer) IE: 192.168.*.*:8000 in Winamp won't connect. Error is "Error syncing to stream". I have opened up 8000 port on the router for incoming and outgoing and tested it with PFPortChecker. Opened TCP and UDP.
From what I can tell by looking at Sonicwall statistics VDJ8 is not sending any data out. (Firewall is disabled on the XP laptop where I am testing this)
I followed the Wiki http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Broadcasting%20Howto.html but it does not seem accurate (ie: there is no Record tab can't find setting where you select the DLL either).

Try using this small program to double check your port access. http://pfportchecker.software.informer.com
It need to be open for both UDP and TCP.
If your on a Mac then there is an alternative just search port checker Mac.
