Whilst I can see all my folders, bpms etc v8 doesn't seem to recognize cue points I set in v7.4 am I missing something?

All my cue points are shifted left to original positions :(
In VDJ 7.4 everything is OK.

Go to options, then to options. You'll find 3 different cue point options to work with. Not completely savvy myself yet, but 8 does see my 7 cue point now. I'm realizing perhaps we should read the entire manual first, before we start playing!!
