Topic: Virtual DJ8 MAC crashing upon search

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

System: Macbook Pro Mid 2011, SSD OS, music on second SATA, 16G DDR

After starting and starting a search with cyrillic letters the VDJ crashes and restarts. Upon second search it hangs

Any ideas ?

Exact same thing happened to me after playing a few video files set up below:

Processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
Software OS X 10.9.3 (13D65)

I would also so love the link button to other sources to be brought back it made life so so so much easier than this !!

Is this still present with the actual build?

If yes, please insert the crash report content inside here :-)

I have had the same problems as you, MBP 15 2013, Mavericks OS,specs as yours, crashes on search or freezes and have to shut down either laptop or app depending on what responds. Have uninstalled VDJ7.4 and VDJ8 twice and the last time just installed VDJ8 only.

So the problem does still exist?

Please check at OPTION the following.

Enable ADV setting
Serach for crashguard and then set it to NO.

Then please try to repoduce the crash gain.
Please add the crash report then in here :-)
