Does v8 have any new provision to force the database location from its root location of each drive containing the media vDJ has discovered? If so, how would you do it on MAC platform.
(Want to use v8 on MAC partition and have it read media from a non-writable Windows NTFS partition.)

You're better off enabling write access with something like Paragon.
AFAIK the database location cannot be changed.
