Topic: VDJ8 failing to start

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Yesterday the software was working without any issues however today it will not even open.

I have tried running as administrator with no luck and looking at task manager a virtual dj process is running but no application

Any ideas on what I can try to get VDJ8 working again?

You can delete the settings.xml file.

MyDocuments/VirtualDJ/settings.xml

This will reset the settings to default and should allow the software to open again
