Need Help.
Saturday I attempted to use v.8 for the first time at gig, the location did not have internet.
As I started VDJ 8 it asked me to inter my credentials, when I put in my user ID and password, I got this:
“We cannot connect to VirtualDJ servers. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet.”
Lucky for me there was a McDonalds down the street.
I took my laptop there, log in and without shutting down my laptop got back to the venue with plenty of time to finish setting up.
What can I do to avoid this from happening again ?

From what we understand, when V8 is live, there will be a way to authorize the device so no login will ever be required. (My laptops never touch the Internet, other than for patches.)
