Ok 7.4 works fine on my Samsung windows tablet but v8 works perfectly even shows the sound in the vu meters playing but no sound ??? The sound card is a Intel SST Audio Device (WDM) (WASAPI)

Try enabling wasapiSharedMode
config -> options -> select advances -> then search wasapi

My Samsung Tablet only had sound with a USB audio cable in it. Today I installed release 1781 and had sound with the internal card. Still have Karaoke Video issues.
CPU intensity was also better the new build.
