So just upgraded to 1765 build and with last release and previous version of VDJ if a video aspect ratio wasnt 16/9 it would be scaled to fit the screen.
With the 1765 build 4/3 videos are left in 4/3 with borders down the left and right. Not really an issue with music video,but it is with karaoke as they seem to be in 4/3.

Quite possibly in the Pre-release.
This is usually because you can play with the settings and find a way of it working. But they may fix the initial problem in the update.
