May sound like a stupid question.
But I see current build is 1765, however I am on 1752.something.
I have enabled updates in the internet settings in options and when I opened VDJ8 ocassionally it says "downloading" briefly, but in the config page still shows build as 1752.

First, you need a connection.
Next you need to open VDJ 8 and leave it open for a while (enough time for it to download any updates in the background).
Restart it after a short while and it should prompt you that an update is available.
