Just bought a new HP laptop (Intel I5, 8 gig ram, 750 gig hard drive running Windows 7) and running Virtual DJ pro basic. I loaded my music library to the hard drive (over 15,000 songs). I select the main folder to scan and analyze BPM's and walk away (I takes a while. I come back to notice that VDJ has locked up. I have to cntrl/alt/dlt and then re-open. After the 3rd time I noticed that it was stuck on a wma file. I'm not sure if it always got stuck on a WMA and I try to just use MP3's but I guess a few files sneak into the database.
Any known issues?? Any solution?

This is usually caused when your hard drive goes to sleep because it isn't being accessed.
It's called power save mode.
A quick search on Google and you should find the way to switch this off for your operating system.
