Im trying to put my old effects in the same folder but the new vdj wont pick them up. I have tried some new ones like the new eq effects but those wont work either.
Same problem with putting new and old samplers into it.

Many effects need re-working for version 8.
It will be down to the original plugin developer to make this happen.

Unlikely that none would work though.
Also why didn't the new ones work?
Toni, try and give a bit more info. Mac or PC? Where exactly are you putting the effects?
What format are your samples in? Do they play just from the browser?

The new ones work fine sorry that i was not being specific.
I am running a mac.
I'm putting the effects in the new vdj 8 folder Documents/Virtualdj/plugins/soundeffects. I see the new ones are just in the plugins folder not going into the sound effects folder. The new plugins seem to be a new file format .ini
Most of the samples are .vdj and i am putting them in doucumetns/virtuldj/sample ... the new samples are a new file as well .virtualdjsample
