Topic: Sound doesnt work on any other functions in my computer when VDJ8 is open

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

when i open VDJ8 it kills the sound on any other program outside of VDJ8
if i want to get sound back on my browser for example, i need to close VDJ8 and close / re-open the browser

this wasnt the case with VDJ7, i was able to use both at the same time when i wanted

config -> options -> advanced

enable wasapiSharedMode

Ah, this was my problem when I thought I wasn't broadcasting. As above, but for my Win 7 machine it is options/options/audio/wasapiSharedMode and check yes
