Okay about the database. If I analyze a new folder/ files and v7. Will v8 automatically read new information or will I need to analyze it again v8. If it should read it what settings do I need to make?

8 only reads the 7 database when you first install it.
Changing the data in either database will not change it in the other.
If you delete the 8 database after modifying something in 7 then 8 should reread it.

It does not work. Anyway, there is almost nothing in the new VirtualDJ/database.xml. If I altern a tag in VDJ 8, where the change is saved? It is not in the old VDJ 7 database, it's not in the new database.xml? I even try to do a search in files to find the text I put in a tag. There is no place where it is saved, still VDJ8 somehow reads it somewhere. Btw I use win 8.1 if it matters.
