Hi Guys,
In version 7 I had set most of my tracks to a gain of around 4.0. However, in version 8, it does not recognize the gain levels I had set. Also, tracks seem to be loading at a very low gain level. In 7 the default was zero. I am not sure if I changed some setting to effect this or whether the software is just doing it by default. Please could someone explain how to change the options so that I can get a default gain setting for new tracks, apart from remembering manual changes I make.

Apart from remembering meaning that you want it to remember the setting you changed?
Because the limiter is always on, I found it better to offset the zeroDB to 0.8. Then I switched the autoGain from auto+remember to auto. This allowed enough head room to keep from hitting the limiter in my tracks. My sound card puts out a good signal, and I adjust the gain structure on my sound equipment accordingly.
