I have been working on a new skin with the skin tool but I cannot get it to open in VDJ8, In 7 it opens fine. I have had a look at the XML for the VDJ 8 skin in notepad (can’t get it to open with the skin tool) and have not noticed anything at the moment that would stop my skin from opening. Any help / info would be much appreciated.

The skin tool will not work for V8 - requires an update!!
If you can upload the skin ZIP to dropbox or similar - post the link and i can take a look for you!

Found out a way to make my skins I have made that would not open in VDJ8 open.
Get the skin resizer tool - turn a skin into a daylight skin and it will then open. To have a night skin as well put the dalight skin you have made back into the tool, select that to be turned into a daylight skin and it will turn back into a night time skin and open in VDJ8.

I saw your PM - i don't understand how that works - but it clearly does.
Future skins i assume you will build of v8 SDK anyway?

Same here Dan, I have no idea how or why!
New skins will all be with the new v8 SDK from now on ( mmmmm .PNG LOL) ;-)
