Hi, I'm running in on mac latest osx fully upto date. Everything will be great no problems then out the blue will just close for a few seconds, music stops, then restarts again back where it was and continues playing.

That means that VDJ just crashed.
It's designed to reopen and continue were it crashed to minimize the dropout of music and continue as fast as possible.
Do you remember what you did? Selecting a effect or something? Or can you reporduce that?
