Topic: ddj ergo not responding

my pioneer ddi ergo is not responding on mac osx 10.9.3 with virtual dj 8.0.it is detected and showing in virtual dj but not responding when pressing any of the buttons or features. it seems to work fine on my windows pc running windows 8.1 any suggestions
