Topic: Possible Bug - Last Play Date

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

When I play a track, it records that the last date played incorrectly.

Example, just played a track and it recorded last played on 2017/02/14. (obviously not today, haha)
(Mac)

Can anyone else confirm this?

My previously played dates are coming up as 2017...

Yeah, thats a bug.
2017/02/14 was the intentional release date. So they choose this for developing purposes.

JUST KIDDING! I don't know anything about the release date, but could not resist, sorry :P

But can not reproduce it (Win). Just played a track and it's last played date is displayed correct.
In older playlists/ history the "last played" confuse me. They are wrong. But that could be due to a bug in an older version maybe.
Will have a look every now and then from now on.

Something isn't right on the Mac side - you are correct.

Will report it.

Thank you Dan...

And yes, past dates are reporting incorrectly as well.

I am sure they will get it sorted out.

(I hope I am reporting correctly, don't want to be considered a pest)

djtouchdan, as a software developer, i can just imagine the scramble to get these code fixes in place...keep up the good work.

Thanks - i'm not a developer though.

I can develop skins but it takes someone much cleverer than me to create VDJ 8.
I'm just a user like you guys and trying to help where i can ;-)

I'm still on MAC 1752.626, will the new build automatically dowload & install?

BTW: Thanks for the real great support (and the fast fix of bugs) ;o)

I have Windows 8.1 and exactly same problem. It is very annoying as I usually sort playlists and filter folders by first seen or last play. Please fix this ASAP!

Same here... Windows XP user and noticed as well. Don't like this "24" hour format. Did not do this in virtual dj 7.. Please fix.

At least make it an option... or show am/pm.

I agree!

Hello, I have the same problem with Virtual DJ 8.1 b2857 showing "Last Play" with the year 2017, my OS is Windows 7 Pro 32bit.
Has this issue been resolved?
