I have quite a few tracks that are not playable as they are pointing to the wrong location, D:/Music, all my music is on a external drive that works perfectly on VDJ7, so I edited the database.xml file to change all instances of the incorrect filepath from D:/Music to /Volumes/My Passport/Music/Dance, but when I reopen VDJ8 the tracks STILL say the wrong file path and wont play. Is there another file I need to edit without having to use the Find Missing file function?
Not sure if this is related but in VDJ7 i was able to set the database to my external drive I do not see where I can do that with VDJ8

Try locating the files through the VDJ folderlist and adding them back to the database.
Have you connected that harddrive to a Windows PC and used VDJ on that?
