Thats the beauty of V8 - no need to wait for your download center to light up. If there is an update its pushed automatically.

Glad it's resolved.

Dan, are you saying that the software updates automatically?

Or is there something we need to do to install?

When VDJ8 is open it will download any updates in the background.

When you close and restart the software you will see an update box with a brief list of fixes.

The software will download the update and give you a popup to choose if you want to install the update yes or no.
No need to do anything at the moment (might change with the release idk)

well when i opened it, it said i had an updated version (something like that) and asked if i wanted to use it. I accepted and vdj opened, no download. Went to see if i could notice any changes. thought of my biggest issue ( order of my playlist) it was the same wrong order. Right clicked on headers and got a reorder option (something like that i don't see it anymore) and the correct order was restored. I still miss my backspin though :(

Will there be an option to download the update and install manually on your gig PC ?

Wow this opens up fast!!

If you check the forum download link you'll see that the exe gets updated, so you can download again from there if you want.

Posted Mon 12 May 14 @ 9:46 am
Yes, as Groovin says - the update will also be pushed to YourAccount (When the software goes public). If you needed to do it manually.

What version are you using?
You can check version if you open the config.
At the very top of config window you should see the current version (with build no.)
Maybe you are just using the newst, so there is no update available for you.

I have build 1748.628. Is that current, as I have not seen an update as of yet.

Posted Mon 12 May 14 @ 9:57 am
1748 is correct.

.628 is reference for controller updates.

But yes, that is all the most recent.

Still have the audio glitch then... when scrolling between "Famous" and "Instruments" in the sidebar.

Posted Mon 12 May 14 @ 10:01 am
I have 627 too - don't worry.

Can you do a video of the audio glitch? Mac or PC?
