having major issues with limiter enabled this was a problem 7 also however I was able to correct by disabling it with it enabled it causes all my audio to fade in and out like a worn cassette tape why was the disabling taken away ....

If you do have a problem it probably means that otherwise the sound would have been clipping, which would have sounded even worse.
Make sure you don't turn the gain up too high and it should be fine. If you need louder, turn up the volume on your amplifier instead of using the gain controls within VDJ.

I set the same settings I have in 7 on the new 8 this was a problem some people in 7 that's why u were able to disable it now u cant no matter what u do with the gains still doesn't change with limiter enable the audio sounds horrible
